Davide Di Rienzo was born in Brescia, Italy, in 1997. He began his piano studies at the age of 12. In 2011 he was admitted to the Liceo Musicale A. Manzoni in Latina, Italy.
He was first prize winner at the “International Piano Competition City of Tarquinia”, “Gian Galeazzo Visconti”, and “Giovani Musici”, at the Sapienza University of Rome. From 2014 to 2018, he studied with M° Ėliso Virsaladze and M° Jacob Katsnelson, within the summer masterclasses organized in the Caetani Castle in Sermoneta, Italy.
During the summer of 2016, he attended the International Keyboard Institute Festival (IKIF), where he had the opportunity of studying with Magdalena Baczewska, Geoffrey Burleson and Gabriele Leporatti.
In 2020 Davide graduated with honors from the “Mannes School of Music” in NYC, under the tutelage of M° Jerome Rose.
In 2022, he graduated from his Master’s degree at the “Herb Alpert School of Music” at UCLA, where he studied with M° Inna Faliks.
At UCLA, he is now a doctoral student in piano performance and teaching associate in the ELTS (European Languages and Transcultural Studies) department.
In June of 2024, he will play as a soloist with the UCLA Symphony, performing Brahms’ Piano Concerto no. 2.
Davide Di Rienzo has held numerous concerts and recitals between Europe and the United States, and is also a passionate teacher who loves to inspire and instill the love of music in the future generations of musicians.
Davide Di Rienzo nasce a Brescia nel 1997. Intraprende lo studio del pianoforte all’età di 12 anni. Nel 2011 viene ammesso nella classe della prof.ssa Grazia Voglino, al Liceo Musicale A.Manzoni di Latina.
Partecipa a numerosi concorsi, classificandosi primo presso il «Premio Internazionale Città di Tarquinia», «Concorso Gian Galeazzo Visconi» (Roma), e «Giovani Musici» (Roma). Nel 2014, 2016 e 2017, partecipa alle masterclass del M° Elissò Virsaladze, presso i Corsi di Sermoneta, organizzati dal Campus Internazionale di Musica.
Nel 2016 viene ammesso alla prestigiosa «Mannes School of Music» di New York, dove studia con il M° Jerome Rose, e dove si laurea con Menzione D’Onore nel Maggio 2020.
A New York, nell’estate 2016, prende parte all’International Keyboard Institute Festival (IKIF), dove ha la possibilità di frequentare lezioni con pianisti di fama internazionale, tra cui Magdalena Baczewska, Geoffrey Burleson e Gariele Leporatti.
Nel 2022 si laurea presso la “Herb Alpert School Of Music at UCLA” di Los Angeles per il corso di Master biennale in Performance Pianistica nella classe del M° Inna Faliks.
Presso la UCLA, Davide Di Rienzo è dottorando dal 2022, in Performance Pianistica e docente presso il dipartimento ELTS (Euopean Languages and Transcultural Studies).
Nel giugno 2024 si esibisce come solista con la UCLA Symphony Orchestra eseguendo il Concerto per pianoforte e orchestra n. 2 di Johannes Brahms.
Davide Di Rienzo ha tenuto numerosi concerti e recital tra l’Europa e gli Stati Uniti d’America, ed è un insegnante appassionato e dedicato nel trasmettere l’amore per la musica alle future generazioni di musicisti.
